National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Dolphin PG Institute, Dehradun organized a cleanliness program at Mahamaya Maa Balasundari Temple, Manduwala, Dehradun. Volunteer students cleaned the courtyard and nearby areas of the Temple.
This was organised under the program Swachha Bharat Abhiyan- Gramin (SBM-G), Govt. of India. The main objectives of SBM(G) are :
Improve the general quality of life in the rural areas, by promoting cleanliness, hygiene and eliminating open defecation.
Dr. Shailja Pant, Principal DSW Shri Vipul Garg Program Officer, Dr. Manoj Kumar Bainsla and Dr. Richa Agarwal along with students were present at the occasion.
