EXTENTION ACTIVITIES – NCC/NSS/YRC/BSG
- National Cadet Corps (NCC) enrollment is a proud tradition of DIBNS. This national programme working under the modus operandi of “Unity and Discipline” focusing on developing character, fellowship, and selfless service principles amongst our country’s youth. NCC is hence a great course to further our aim of holistic growth
- National Service Scheme (NSS) is one of the best central schemes for students seeking to partake in community service. It allows our students in the institute’s NSS Unit to receive hands on & real life experience in spreading awareness, organizing health camps, celebration of Indian artists & scientists, arranging cleaning & food distribution drives, planning & executing self defense training sessions, reforestation.
- Youth Red Cross (YRC) is an amazing humanitarian platform for our students to boost & exhibit their passion of selfless service for public welfare. Activities focusingon public health with health awareness programmes & camps, blood donation camps, disaster management, triage and first aid, large-scale CPR training, climate change awareness camps, road safety seminars, visits to orphanage, old age homes, schools for blind & deaf, schools for children with special needs – all are organized by our students that have joined the youth wing of the Indian Red Cross though our Youth Red Cross Unit.
- Bharat Scouts & Guides (BSG) provides the perfect platform for students that want
to participate in creating a better world as responsible local, national, and global
citizens with the help of a secular, non-political, and inclusive organization made for
the youth of this nation.
