An educational trip to Chandigarh was organized on the 27th of November, 2022 by the Department of Horticulture, for IV-year B.Sc. students. The students learned about different varieties of roses like B P Pal, Queen Elizabeth, and Twice in bloom, and some introduced hybridized varieties like Kiss of Fire, Cristina, etc. Students learned about the cultivation of some varieties of wild #rose, fairy rose, icebergs, and their creepers. Students along with the faculty members namely Dr. Kanika Issar, Dr. Jagdish Purohit, and Ms.Himani Rawat also visited Rock #garden. The students got a very good practical exposure to gardens and museums, specifically the Dolls Museum in Rock garden.
