- Your home away from home. The hostels of DIBNS strive to embody the safety and comfort of home-life for each student..
- Accommodation: The outstanding Girls Hostel accommodates 333 residents in a
total of 161 rooms (144 double occupancy rooms & 15 triple occupancy rooms) andthe excellent Boys Hostel accommodated 156 residents in a total of 75 rooms (60 double occupancy rooms & 12 triple occupancy rooms). - Wardens: Girls Hostel has 3 Wardens that lovingly and efficiently look after their residents, and Boys Hostel has 1 Warden that does the same – all wardens stay full time in the hostels. All concerns and difficulties of residents are solved promptly by the wardens, and students are made to feel at ease in their new environments. Parents are also kept in loop about all significant details of their wards, to assure them of their children’s safety and comfort.
- Gym and Badminton Court: Both hostels have a fully furnished gym with the best fitness equipments, utilized daily and extensively by the resident students. Both hostels also have a full sized badminton court.
- Dining Hall and Water Accessibility: Both hostels also have expansive dining halls, with all the same high standards that the campus cafeteria operated by, all delicious and nutritionally complete meals are made in-house by trained chefs in best hygienic conditions. Girls Hostel has 4 full time mess workers and Boys Hostel has 3 full time mess workers. Students have easy access to water coolers in both hostels.
- Safety Measures: Each hostel has employed safety measures for its residents. The hostels are under full CCTV surveillance 24×7, curfew for all residents is at 10:00 p.m., and guards are deployed in 12 hours shifts, to ensure efficient maintenance of safety, around the clock. Any delivery addressed to the hostels is received only before curfew by the student/staff under CCTV surveillance.
- Clean and Green: Great care goes in ensuring a clean and green infrastructure of the hostels; hence we have employed gardeners and safaikaramcharis/cleaners as essential workers in both hostels to maintain a standard of living for all residents that work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Maintenance: Both hostels are facilitated with 1 plumber and 1 electrician each, to take care of any malfunctioning in residential quarters.
- Celebrations: Birthdays are celebrated collectively once a month and all religious & national festivals are given special importance by inclusive cultural celebrations in both hostels.
- Healthcare: Residents of both hostels have access to full time medical facilities, with a 24×7 ambulance service for any medical emergencies, along with, prompt medical appointments/OPD visits in our affiliated clinics & hospitals (Dr. Sumit Vohra, Prem Nagar / Synergy Hospital, Ballupur / Dolphin Jankalyan Multispecialty Hospital, Karanpur). Residents are also, of course, entitled to utilize all other medical facilities offered by DIBNS.
- Additional Facilities in the Girls Hostel – one Open Air Theater (for all outdoors celebrations), a Recreation Room, and a Visitor’s Room, a Library and Study Room, along with, a Tuck Shop.
